Kravet Design of Distinction

          Ronnie Milsap’s 1980 hit song Smoky Mountain Rain inspired this pattern. It describes the singer’s journey through the stormy mountain chains of the Southern US to find the lover who left him. The pattern mimics the similar journey of a raindrop as it trickles down a windowpane. Organic lines capture the eye and create movement. Kravet’s Mont Wing Chair provides firm grounds for this pattern to flow over. Additionally, the fabric’s blue hue refers to water but is unnaturally saturated representing the singer’s hopeful search despite his situation.
